Fishing Passdown from JoeBrown on 2024-06-28

We put out the green lights the first night. water was chocolate colored and did not fish the first night. The second night the water cleared some and I fished and caught six keeper size trout. The next night I caught four keeper trout. I gilled and gutted the keeper trout, vacuum sealed, and popped into the freezer. I was using spec rigs for bait. We made a beachcombing trip to the beach side on Wednesday. The road was easily passable except near the beach there was a debris pile blocking the road. Several vehicles had made a road around the pile, not a problem. As we traveled down the beach there were huge debris piles with lots of shells mixed in with the debris. We found some really pristine shells including some of the biggest welk shells I've ever found on the Island.
