WATER SYSTEM SHUT-DOWN / START-UP




Water System Winterization:


1. Turn Off Both Water Valves From Tank Sources.



2. Unplug Water Pump From Wall Outlet

3. Connect Air Compressor To Wall Outlet, Turn On And Set Working Pressure To +/- 20 PSI

4. Connect Air Compressor To Air Inlet And Open Blue And Red Air Valves (Pic Below)


5. With Compressor Running, Flush Both Toilets And Turn Off Toilet Water Valves.

6. Open Each Fixture And Hose One At A Time And Let Drain Until Only Air Blows Then Close

a. Upstairs & Cantina Sinks
b. Fish Cleaning Table Faucet & Hose
c. Garage Water Hose
d. Upstairs Shower
e. Outdoor Shower
f. Upstairs Bathroom Sink
g. Water Heater (Drain On Bottom)
h. Water Hose In Gen Shed

7. Close Blue And Red Air Valves, Turn Off Compressor And Remove.

8. Turn Off Wall (Pump Switch) And Plug Pump Back In.

9. If Freezing Conditions Are Expected, Leave Water Heater Powered On (Gas Off).




Water System De-Winterization

1. Open Gen Shed Water Hose Bib And Place Hose Outside

2. Open Tank Inlet Valve (Top Picture) From Desired Tank Source

3. Open Prime Port On Top Of Pump And Fill With Water

4. Replace Prime Port Plug

5. Turn On Water Pump Wall Switch

Water Pump Should Start and Hopefully Will Prime And Water Begin To Flow From Hose. After Water Flows, Shut Off Hose And Open Faucets In Cabin To Purge Air From Lines Until Water Begins To Flow. Open Toilet Inlet Valves.

If Pump Fails To Prime, Turn Off Pump Switch, Remove Prime Port Plug And Repeat Steps Above Beginning With Step 3.
